Rosgal construct a new cycle route and resurface a carriageway on Thomas Street, Manchester

May 19, 2021

Rosgal has recently completed urgent works to construct a new two-way cycle route and resurface a carriageway on Thomas Street, Manchester, for Manchester City Council (MCC).

Manchester City Council required these works to be completed before Coronavirus restrictions were lifted and the adjacent bars and restaurants were allowed to re-open.

Thankfully, we were able to complete this project within 2 weeks and before the specified deadline (April 12). We were also able to maintain access to the adjacent properties and businesses which run alongside the street.

The works involved the construction of a two-way cycle route along Thomas Street and the resurfacing of a carriageway to provide local residents with a safe and accessible space where they can cycle along the road and access the nearby restaurants and bars.

The cycle route is a safe and clean space which local residents can use to access the city centre and the adjacent businesses.

Our skilled and competent operatives completed these urgent works on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the client.

“Thank you for your efforts in completing the works on Thomas Street at such short notice and the speed at which everyone worked at. A number of businesses on Thomas Street have also expressed their surprise at how quickly you got it done and the fact that the finished works look really good”.
